We all have lists. Tasks we complete, future tasks, events we attend, events we cancel because we attend too many events, etc…

After handling all these lists, you might need a drink.

The drink also requires a list, but let’s keep it simple.

The Ingredients (serves 3):

  1. Whiskey (6 oz.)
  2. Honey Syrup (2 oz.)
  3. Lemon Juice (from one whole lemon or 2 oz.)

While the name “Gold Rush” sounds upscale, the three ingredients required to make this cocktail keep it in the more affordable mixed drink lineup.

Drink this when you’re busy, want something tasty and not pricey to drink, or just because it’s absolutely refreshing and delicious.

The Process:

  1. Add ice and all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake until the exterior of the shaker fogs over entirely.
  3. Strain the liquid into a glass of your choice.

Making Honey Syrup:

If you don’t have honey syrup on hand, simply boil equal parts of water and honey for about 2 minutes or until the ingredients combine.
