The Cocktail Of The Month – The Boulevardier

On blustery fall evenings, I look forward to slowly sipping a stiff bourbon drink without the need to leave my home. The boulevardier tastes great in any season, but I especially enjoy it as the temperature drops and the world around seems still. Enjoy this drink on the rocks. While served cold, it’s sure to warm your spirit.

The Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
  • 1 oz. Campari or Aperol
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 Orange Slice
  • Ice

The Process:

  • Add ice, Campari or Aperol, bourbon, and sweet vermouth to a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake until the side of the cocktail shaker fogs over and feels cold to the touch.
  • Strain liquid into an ice-filled glass.
  • Add an orange slice, and enjoy!
