On blustery fall evenings, I look forward to slowly sipping a stiff bourbon drink without the need to leave my home. The boulevardier tastes great in any season, but I especially enjoy it as the temperature drops and the world around seems still. Enjoy this drink on the rocks. While served cold, it’s sure to warm your spirit.
- 1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
- 1 oz. Campari or Aperol
- 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
- 1 Orange Slice
- Add ice, Campari or Aperol, bourbon, and sweet vermouth to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake until the side of the cocktail shaker fogs over and feels cold to the touch.
- Strain liquid into an ice-filled glass.
- Add an orange slice, and enjoy!
