The Happy Accident Burger

A Porterfield specialty, The Happy Accident Burger, comes from an accidental purchase of mild breakfast sausage mixed with ground beef and other delicious ingredients.

Patty Ingredients:

  1. Bread Crumbs from one thick slice of toast
  2. 5 cloves Minced Garlic
  3. ½ Minced Purple Onion
  4. Janes Crazy Steakhouse Seasoning
  5. 1.35 pound Ground Beef
  6. One pound Country Style Pork Sausage
  7. 1 Egg

Sauce Ingredients:

  1. Sauce
  2. Mayo
  3. Minced Pickled Hot Okra
  4. Paprika

Optional Topping:

Spring greens

The Patty Process:

  1. Process Ingredients 1-4 in the food processor.
  2. Blend patty Ingredients with bread crumb mixture.
  3. Refrigerate patties for 30 minutes.
  4. Cook patties until they reach 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Combine sauce ingredients.
  6. Serve on toasted buns and garnish with spring greens.
  7. Enjoy!
